Reflection:
The annual gathering of the Cooloola ECTA group was well attended by seventeen regional group members. Reflections about the year and the conference next year were discussed during the social afternoon.

One, Two Buckle My Shoe":
Using Multi Sensory Music as a Springboard for Maths and Numeracy
Presented by Sue Southey Early Childhood Teacher and Music Specialist
Engage young children's enthusiasm and understanding of mathematical concepts through multisensory games and activities. Classification, set building, number sequences, number operations, patterning, shapes and spatial awareness can be developed through movement, song and musical games. The workshop will be based on songs from Sue's CDs, traditional songs and original material combined with hands on resources. This workshop is suitable for staff working in with children aged 3 to 7 years. Notes and scores for songs and rhymes provided.

Suitable for Childcare, Kindergarten, Prep and Lower Primary Teachers and assistants
