The Queensland Teachers' Union, celebrating 130 years this year, has the largest number of members, over 45,000 and growing. The QTU represents teachers and school leaders in state run primary, secondary, and special schools and TAFE Institutes.
We are particularly proud of our advocacy on behalf of early childhood educators including teachers working with students in pre-prep in 35 Indigenous communities in Cape York and the Torres Strait, those working in E-Kindy and state-delivered Kindy in rural and remote centres through Queensland, and early years teachers working in Prep to year 3 across the state. We sincerely thank you for your ongoing commitment to giving every child, every day, the opportunity to play, learn and develop.
