2021 ECTA Early Childhood Conference EOI
October 23 @ 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
SUBMIT TO PRESENT BEFORE 30 OCTOBER
Please forward to all who may be interested in submitting an expression of interest to present at the ECTA Early Childhood Conference 26 June 2021.
The ECTA Early Childhood Conference has been held on the first Saturday of the June/July state school holidays since 1975.
Due to the continued uncertainty of COVID-19 we are planning for a hybrid conference in 2021, with online and face to face options. This may include presenters presenting via ZOOM or being zoom recorded whilst presenting live from Brisbane, Rocky, Gladstone, Cairns, Hervey Bay, Mackay or Townsville regional hubs. Attendees will be able to participate via ZOOM or if available joining in face to face at one of the regional hubs.
As the conference will be online, presenters are able to present from their local area. We are hoping this will expand the range and variety of presentations offered.
The 2021 Conference Committee invites submission of outlines for keynote and workshops which will stimulate, challenge and inspire attendees to reflect on their pedagogy and gain practical ideas and strategies to implement into their teaching. Conference attendees will come from all areas of the early childhood sector including before school and lower primary sectors.
Submissions focused on the Australian Curriculum, MTOP and EYLF and all other areas of interest to Early Childhood professionals teaching children from birth to eight years of age are welcomed. We encourage you to focus on a specific age range in your submission so that attendees will be able to choose presentations relevant to the age range they are working with. You are able to add additional submissions after submitting the first. The second presentation may focus on a different age range or topic.
To submit click the link above, then click the SUBMIT ABSTRACT button. You will then click NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT at the bottom of that page.
Please Note: Due to COVID-19 the conference will be held online via ZOOM as part of a hybrid event combining a face-to-face in regional hubs with an online event. The venues are yet to be confirmed.
