OUTLINE:
The presentation will consider the influences, factors and triggers behind children’s behaviour. The principles for guiding children’s behaviour and behaviour guidance strategies will be discussed. The significance of emotions and feelings for children and the benefits of mindfulness and building resiliency will be focused upon.
PRESENTER BIOGRAPHY:
Joanna Merton is an Early Childhood Consultant, Trainer and Assessor and University Adviser. She has founded the business ‘Inspire Me Professional Development Company’ which has been operating for 7 years. She has 30+ years experience in the Early Childhood and Education sector, and 15+ years in the Training and Assessment profession. Joanna holds a Master of Education, Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in TESOL and Associate Diploma of Social Science (Child Studies). She is currently studying Positive Psychology. Jo is passionate about professional development and shares her love of learning with the Early Childhood and Education sector.
