See a child differently and you will see a different child.
Children’s developmental differences are often expressed as challenging behaviours. What can you do? with Maureen Hawke

OUTLINE: How regular daily movement activities promote optimal child development and assist in the management of challenging behaviours. Learning Connections programs provide fun movement activities that are suitable for groups of young children. The activities help calm and focus children and assist them to become more settled and co-operative. They also enhance the child’s neurological development, physical skills, confidence, problem solving and socialisation skills. Using empirical and anecdotal evidence, this presentation highlights how movement programs can improve children’s learning and behaviour in the early years.
