Create your own playground! Be resourceful with the materials you have, and the things that you find in nature. Birdwings Forest School Directors Jen and Narell take you on a tour of their Adventure Playground in their outdoor site and show you the potential for rich and dynamic play with just a few resources. We use ropes, tools, fabric and wood to create a playful wonderland for our Little Birdwings program.

Presenters Biographies : Jennifer and Navell are the directors of
Birdwings Forest School, an award winning nature connection
program on the Gold Coast. We work with children from birth to
10 years in wild nature settings. Our programs operate 100%
outdoors in all weather with minimal resources. We have become
experts at playing with what we find and using tools and donated
loose parts to create our own special play areas. Birdwings is in
its 4th successful year with many programs for children and
families, including playgroups, bush Kindy and our Adventure
Club for preschoolers and Bush Club for school aged children.
